عبادة يغفل عنها الكثير

العلامة الحبيب عمر بن حفيظ: المحبة نتيجة المعرفة، فالأنس يزداد بكثرة الذكر، والمعرفة تزداد بنور وصفاء الفكر، ولذا دعانا إلى التفكر، وهي عبادة كان يغفل عنها كثير من المؤمنين، وهي كانت جُلّ عبادات الصحابة الفكر، الفكر فيما قال وفيما أخبر، وفيما دل عليه وفيما أرشد؛ يهيمون في ذلك، يفكرون كثير ليل ونهار، حتى كثير من ساعات الليل يستغرقونها في الفكر، لكن الفكر الصافي الطيب، النقي العالي الرفيع.
وصفِّ من الأكدار سرّك إنه ** إذا ما صفا أولاك معنى من الفكرِ
تطوفُ به غيب العوالم كلها ** وتسري به في ظلمة الليل إذ يسري

Love is the result of knowledge. And serenity increases by virtue of abundant remembrance. And knowledge increases by virtue of enlightened and pure reflection. This is why we are called to reflect. It’s an act of worship that many of the believers have been headless of despite it (reflection) forming the majority of the worship of the companions.
Reflecting deeply into His words, what He has informed us, His guidance and His signs. They think abundantly in the night and in the day. To the point that they would spend most of their night in reflection. But this was sound, pure, clean, lofty and high type of reflection.
