مقطع: شُعَب الإيمان

العلامة الحبيب عمر بن حفيظ: "الإيمان بضعٌ وسبعون شُعبة، أعلاها لا إله إلا الله وأدناها إماطة الأذى عن الطريق"، وأعلاها هذا يتفرّع منه كل شيء من وراءه، فجميع شُعَب الإيمان مُتفرِّعة مِن لا إله إلا الله، فهي الشُّعبة العُليا التي تتفرّع منها جميع الشُّعَب: إقام الصلاة شعبة عظيمة من شُعب الإيمان، إيتاء الزكاة كذلك، صوم رمضان كذلك، حجّ البيت للمستطيع كذلك، برّ الوالدين كذلك، صِلة الرحم كذلك شُعبة من شعب الإيمان، والإحسان إلى الجيران شعبة من شعب الإيمان، ضبط اللسان من أعظم شعب الإيمان، "من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فليقل خيرا أو ليصمت"
ولا أقل من أدناها: أدناها تُميط الأذى عن الطريق، وهذا يُذكّرنا بحقوق الطريق وآداب الطريق..

مترجم بالانجليزية (In English):
“Faith (Iman)consists of seventy odd branches. The highest of all these is the Testimony of Faith: 'La ilaha illallah' (there is no true god except Allah) while the least of them is the removal of a harmful object from the road.”
From the highest of all branches stems all good, which is the testimony of faith. For it is the source of all good deeds such as:
The establishment of prayer, the giving of obligatory charity (Zakat), fasting the holy month of Ramadan, performing pilgrimage for those who are able, obeying one’s parents, maintaining family ties and being good to one’s neighbors. From amongst the best of these deeds is controlling one’s tongue, as the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him said: “He who believes in Allah and the final day, must either speak well, or remain silent”
The lowest of these branches is removing harm from the road, which shows us the etiquettes of thoroughfares and public spaces.
