من تفسير قوله تعالى: (وَالَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا زَادَهُمْ هُدًى وَآتَاهُمْ تَقْوَاهُمْ) سورة محمد.
العلامة الحبيب عمر بن حفيظ:
(وَالَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا)؛ بأنواع المجاهدات (زَادَهُمْ هُدًى)؛ بأنوار المشاهدات
(وَالَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا)؛ بعلم اليقين (زَادَهُمْ هُدًى)؛ بحق اليقين.
(وَالَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا)؛ عرفوا الحقَّ بما جاء إليك وما أوحيناه، فلزموه وقاموا بحقّه، (زَادَهُمْ هُدًى)؛ بالتثبيت والاستقامة والعِناية والرعاية.
(وَالَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا زَادَهُمْ هُدًى) وهذه سنة من سنة ربكم، أنَّ من أقبل عليه زاده من سرّ الإقبال، ومن أطاعه زاده من عجائب النّوال، ومن صدق معه زاده من صلاح الأحوال، ورفعه إلى المراتب العَوال.
(وَالَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا) بأدب المُناجاة؛ (زَادَهُمْ هُدًى) بأسرار النّجاة، والرُّقي في الدرجات العُلى مع أصفياه.

From explaining the verse: (As for those who are ˹rightly˺ guided, He increases them in guidance and blesses them with righteousness) [Surat Muhammad, verse 17]
(As for those who are ˹rightly˺ guided); through various ways of striving, (He increases them in guidance); with illuminated insight
(As for those who are ˹rightly˺ guided); by certitude through knowledge, (He increases them in guidance); by certitude through realization
(As for those who are ˹rightly˺ guided); they recognized truth through what was given to you [Prophet Muhammad] and Our revelation, and they stuck to it and gave it its due right, (He increases them in guidance); by granting them steadfastness, uprightness, care and guardianship
(As for those who are ˹rightly˺ guided, He increases them in guidance); this is the norm that Your Lord has set. Whoever draws near to Him, He will increase them in the secrets of drawing near. Whoever obeys Him, He will increase them in wondrous gifts. Whoever is sincere with Him, He will increase them in rectifying their states and elevating them to high stations.
