شعبان وسيلة لتحوّل الأحوال

العلامة الحبيب عمر بن حفيظ:
اجعلوا من شعبان وليلة النصف من شعبان، ورفع الأعمال في شعبان وعرضها على الرحمن، وسيلة لتحوّل الأحوال ولتغييرها إلى ما هو أجمل وأكمل وأفضل، فإن الله لا يُغيّر ما بقوم حتى يُغيّروا ما بأنفسهم، ابتعدوا عن الإهمال في الصلوات، والمفروضات من الزكوات وصيام رمضان المبارك، وواجبات بر الوالدين، وصِلَة الأرحام، ورعاية حق الجار ولو كان كافراً فكيف إذا كان مسلماً، اصدقوا مع الله تعالى في تعلّم أحكام شرعه، وخذوا من الدنيا ما يسّر لكم من حِلّه، من حيث أحل، وتنزّهوا وتطهّروا مِن أن تُستعبدوا لأحد من فئات الشر في غرب ولا في شرق، واعبدوا الله وحده لا شريك له، واجعلوا القدوة محمد بن عبد الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.

Let the month of Shaban, the night of the 15th, and the ascension of good deeds that are shown to the Most Merciful, be a means to changing matters into that which is more beautiful, wholesome, and better.
For Allah does not bring change to a people until they change themselves.
Prevent yourselves from being neglectful in prayers and in all obligations including Zakat, fasting the blessed month of Ramadan, obeying one’s parents, connecting ties of kinship, fulfilling the rights of one’s neighbor even if they are disbelievers, let alone if they are Muslim?!
Be truthful with Allah in learning the rules of His Shariah, take from the dunya what is lawful from what He (Allah) made lawful for you.
Refrain and purify yourselves from becoming slaves of evil groups in the west and the east.
Worship Allah alone, none other than Him, let your role model be Muhammad ﷺ!
